
ECDF :- “Holistic Development in Early Childhood: Integrating All Aspects of Wellbeing”

Early Childhood Development Forum (ECDF) in collaboration with Salwan Education Trust organized a day long Global Symposium and Workshop at Salwan Public School, Sector 15, Gurugram, Haryana on Saturday, 20th April 2024. The theme of the Symposium and workshop was “Holistic Development in Early Childhood: Integrating All Aspects of Wellbeing”. The event was attended by school owners, principals, and teachers from various schools in Haryana, Delhi, Pune, and Assam. The event had eminent educationists like Dr. Venita Kaul, Professor Emerita (education) Ambedkar University, Delhi as the Keynote Speaker, Dr. Neeta Bali, Director of Seth Anandram Jaipuria Schools, Dr. Mayuri Dutt, Director of Don Bosco School, Malda, West Bengal, Dr. Indu Khetarpal, Editor-in-Chief, Navtika, Tijay Gupta COO and Founder of Bachpan and AHPS Group of Schools, Manish Naidu, Founder of Brain Wonders and many others. Some international speakers conducted hybrid sessions like Building Wellbeing and Calm Learning Environments by Dr. Kathryn Murray, CEO of Future Strong Education, Australia, and Promoting Emotional Well-Being in Early Childhood by Abigail Carr, Early Childhood Education Specialist, Hong Kong. The eminent speakers have joined from different geographies for sharing their findings and perspectives on ECE. They have shared with us some of the key features, disseminating important information to other practitioners through intense deliberations and discussions by giving their perspective.
“The focus of this event was to bring experts of the Early Childhood domain under one roof and have quality deliberations that would help in bringing innovation in the domain of early childhood development and upgrade the knowledge base”, said Dr. Vasavvi Acharjya, Founder and Chairperson of this global forum. The role of teacher is very important in guiding children in their behavior and in forming positive relationships, expressed by Mr Vinay Mittal, the chief guest of the day.
The conference was followed by an award ceremony, where the forum presented the Global Pinnacle Education Awards to honor Education Leaders, Educationists, Preschool Owners, and many others who have done remarkable work in the domain of Early Childhood Education, under various categories like Exceptional Contribution in the field of Early Childhood and K12 Education.
