Dr Venita Kaul is Professor Emerita (Education) Ambedkar University Delhi from where she retired in 2016 as Director of School of Education Studies and Founder Director of Center for Early Childhood Education and Development (CECED). Prior to this Prof Kaul was a Senior Education Specialist in The World Bank for over ten years. She was earlier in NCERT for over twenty years from where she took early retirement rom position of Professor and Head of Department of Preschool and Elementary Education. Prof Kaul has been a member of several Committees of the Government, a Member of the Steering Group of Asia Pacific Regional Network for ECD and an invited member of the International Forum for Investing in the Young Child. She has also served on Boards of a number of NGOs working in the area of Education and has several national and international publications in Early Education to her credit. (India).

Dr Shraddha Kapoor is B.Sc., MSc. and Ph.D. from Lady Irwin College and joined the faculty after her post-graduation. Her areas of interest are early childhood education, childcare principles of development, counselling and gender justice and empowerment. She has published several articles and chapters in journals and books. She is actively involved in research and M.Sc. and Ph.D. dissertation guidance in above areas. From the beginning, her research interest have been childcare and gender issues which she brings to our classroom teaching, trying to empower every student of her to live life with dignity, be aware of their rights and work towards gender equity

She was appointed as Principal of Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, New Delhi by an order dated 8th July 2013, consequent to her transfer from Salwan Public School, Gurugram, where she served for more than 15 years in the capacity of the School Head, proving to be an exemplar of dedication and commitment.

She has made substantial contributions in the field of curriculum design and development working closely with the Central Board of Secondary Education, National Council of Educational Research and Training , National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA).
